Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Novara OS uses cookies and similar local storage technologies when you use our service.

What we use

Novara OS is intentionally lightweight. We use only strictly necessary browser storage — we do not use advertising, marketing, or third-party tracking cookies.

  • Session token (browser localStorage): keeps you signed in securely. Without it you cannot use the app.
  • File access token (browser localStorage): lets your uploaded images load securely; short-lived.
  • Cookie consent flag (browser localStorage): remembers that you acknowledged this notice so we don't show it again.

Third parties

When you choose "Sign in with Google," Google may set its own cookies as part of its authentication flow, governed by Google's own policies. Our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Emergent object storage, MailerSend) do not set tracking cookies in your browser through Novara OS.

Managing storage

You can clear this storage anytime via your browser settings. Note that clearing the session token will sign you out. Because we only use strictly necessary storage, disabling it will prevent the app from functioning.
